Boca Raton Regional Hospital Ball Announces Sting as Headliner...

November 15, 2021

The Boca Raton Regional Hospital Ball is the most anticipated event of the season, and 2022 will be no different. To be held on Saturday, January 8, 2022 at The Boca Raton, this year’s entertainment will feature composer, singer-songwriter, actor, author, and activist Sting! This special performance from the 17-time Grammy Award winning musician is being generously underwritten by Bob Sheetz and Debbie Lindstrom.

As one of the world’s most distinctive solo artists, Sting has earned two Brits, a Golden Globe, an Emmy, and four Oscar nominations - including one 2017 nomination for “The Empty Chair” from “Jim: The James Foley Story” - Billboard magazine’s Century Award, and MusiCares 2004 “Person of the Year.” He is a member of both the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and the Songwriters Hall of Fame and has received the Kennedy Center Honors, the American Music Award of Merit, and the Polar Music Prize. On November 19, 2021, he will release his latest studio album The Bridge. The collection, written and recorded in a year of global pandemic, showcases various stages and styles throughout his unrivaled career and draws inspiration from genres including rock n’ roll, jazz, classical music, and folk.

Proceeds from the black-tie event will expand and enhance patient care services at Boca Raton Regional Hospital. The evening will recognize philanthropists and honorary chairs Bob Sheetz and Debbie Lindstrom, as well as new members of the organization’s Golden Guild, Eleanor R. Baldwin and Michelle and Michael Hagerty, for their transformational gifts to the Hospital.

Since the inaugural Ball in 1962, this signature event has become the “must-attend” gala of the season. The 59th Annual Ball is certain to be a sell out and the guests who have secured their tickets will have the great pleasure of listening and dancing to the greatest hits of the music legend Sting. In addition, the evening offers a lavish cocktail reception, followed by a gourmet three-course dinner, libations and decadent sweets, all in the good company of more than 1,200 fellow hospital supporters.

At the 59th Annual Ball, Boca Raton Regional Hospital will celebrate ten outstanding nurse honorees, recognized as healthcare heroes, for their dedication and commitment to Boca Raton Regional Hospital: Aime Calixste, RN; Stephanie Diaz, RN; Sabrina Irfan-Day, RN, BSN; Jane Ostrovskaya, RN;  Vicky Rampaul, RN, BSN; Iselda Sanchez, RN, BSN; Michael Synder, RN; Gina Teeling, RN, BSN;  Luis Uribe, RN;  and Tamara Williams, RN.
